BCBAs offer guidance and structure to individuals with disorders such as autism, bipolar disorder, depression, and more. The BCBA is responsible for evaluating the client's needs and then designing programs for everyone involved in the therapeutic process, from staff to family members.
SLPs play an important role in autism treatment. They can help the person with autism build communication and social skills in different settings like home, school, and work. SLPs can also help the person learn to use Augmentative and Alternative Communication if they need help communicating.
OT programs often focus on play skills, learning strategies, and self-care. OT strategies can also help to manage sensory issues. The goal is to improve everyday skills which allow people to become more independent and participate in a wide range of activities.
Registered Behavior Technicians assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or RBT Requirements Coordinator who is responsible for their work.
